Scunthorpe winger Adam Hammill – who is expected to depart United before today’s deadline – has turned down a move to an unnamed club.
Iron manager Paul Hurst confirmed the news in an interview at lunch-time with BBC Humberside journalist, Matt Dean.
Hurst also revealed that United are unlikely to do any business before the 17:00 transfer deadline – but are still having conversations. Basically, never say never.
