Iron midfielder Matty Lund will stay for our League Two campaign despite interest from League One promotion favourites Portsmouth.
Lund enjoyed a successful pre season with United, having recovered from a potentially career ending degenerative bone condition which saw him most of the second half of last season.

Losing Lund this late in the transfer window would leave the Iron so far behind any teams expected to be fighting for promotion this season, which is likely why Peter Swann swatted away Pompey’s interest immediately.
