The Iron have given fans a further chance to vote for their favourite home kit out of four designs ahead of the 2019/20 season, following a backlash over the initial choices.
Fans had made it clear they were unhappy with the initial four choices, and credit to the club and Peter Swann, as they have listened. Not many would.
A statement on the club’s official website said:
Following feedback at the Fans’ Forum and in the Supporter Survey, the club would like to offer fans a further chance to decide on the final design of the home kit for the 2019-20 season.
The original design concept for the kit was taken from the version worn by the Iron during the 1982-83 Division Four promotion-winning season, which featured blue shorts and blue socks.
Supporters now have the chance to vote on the combination of the accompanying shorts and socks for the 2019-20 version.
Please note: The digital representation of the blue gives the impression it is lighter than in previous seasons. This is NOT the case and it is the same blue of the previous two years.
Iron supporters can click here now to enter their vote. The deadline for votes to count will be 9am on Monday 18th February.
The Any Old Iron vote goes to option number three. Sexy.
