Rochdale defender Harrison McGahey will join his new Scunthorpe teammates for training for the first time tomorrow, after a BBC Humberside journalist confirmed a deal had been reached.
It was first revealed on the 21st of December that the Iron were keen to bring McGahey in from Dale.
And that deal now seems to be over the line, after BBC Humberside reporter Mike White tweeted the following:
Club source at @SUFCOfficial confirms to me that deal for Rochdale defender Harrison McGahey is done on a two and a half year contract but he won’t be joining up with the team until tomorrow. #uti #Iron— Mike White (@mikewhitesport) January 3, 2019
McGahey may be unlikely to be announced today having not been able to be at the club to have the unveiling photos taken, but will almost certainly be unveiled tomorrow in time for the weekend.
