Former Scunthorpe favourite unveiled as new Shelbourne boss

Former Scunthorpe United midfielder Ian Morris has taken over as manager at League of Ireland side Shelbourne ahead of the 2019 season.

Morris scored seven goals from midfield for the Iron during a spell that spanned from 2006-2011.

The 31-year-old played the full 90 minutes in one of the greatest moments in the clubs history, when Nigel Adkins led his side to a 3-2 Play Off final victory over Millwall at Wembley in 2009.

Shelbourne is Morris’ first venture into management, after he spent the last two seasons with Bohemians.

Good luck in management Ian Morris. #UTI
