Murray Wallace may be close to agreeing a switch to Championship side Millwall, according to a report.
We reported about a bid being knocked back by the Iron for the defender in the last couple of weeks, but it seems the previously unnamed side is Millwall, and they didn’t give up after that first bid.
The news comes via journalist Alan Nixon, who tweeted:
@reluctantnicko More Millwall. Move for Murray Wallace at Scunthorpe moving closer. Plus another one up sleeve for Sunday 😉
Nixon is credited with getting a lot of Iron related transfer rumours spot on, worryingly.
I’d expect to hear more about Wallace’s future in the coming days, and I doubt it will be in the Iron’s favour.
