Daws and Dawson to remain in charge for the remainder of the season

Rumours have been flying around about who will be the new manager at Scunthorpe, but for the remainder of the season at least, Nick Daws will be partnered by Andy Dawson.

Steve Cotterill and Grant McCann had been the frontrunners for the job according to the bookies, but Daws will be afforded the chance to replicate the form he oversaw the Iron produce during his temporary spell after the sacking of Mark Robins in 2016 – before Graham Alexander was unexpectedly appointed.

The duo will take charge of their first game live in front of the Sky TV cameras, when United face Oxford at the Kassam Stadium on Friday

Good luck to Nick and Andy, we believe.
