Scunthorpe chairman Peter Swann has revealed two of the names he is interested in becoming the club’s new manager, this lunch time – and there’s a shock.
Speaking to BBC Humberside journalist Matt Dean over the phone, Swann revealed his interest in bookies favourite Steve Cotterill, but also in ex England manager Steve McClaren.
Just spoken with Peter Swann. He’s confirmed interest in both Steve Cotterill and Steve McClaren as possible replacements for Graham Alexander.
He says he’s yet to speak with anybody but may look at an initial short term appoint.
Hasn’t ruled out movement before Fri.
