Championship trio Leeds United, Nottingham Forest and QPR are all considering submitting a bid for Funso Ojo, according to reports.
The Belgian midfielder has earned plenty of plaudits among the Iron faithful since his switch from Eredivisie side Willem II in the summer.
The Daily Mirror claim that three Championship clubs may make a bid before the fast approaching transfer deadline.
Transfermarkt value Ojo in the region of £900,000 – but United would likely rate the central midfielder at a much larger fee than that.
Ojo signed a three-year deal with the Iron in the summer, meaning the club could demand a large fee.
Iron Chairman Peter Swann and Graham Alexander would be unlikely to consider bids unless they hit the club’s actual valuation, as the sale would leave United with a limited amount of time to find a suitable replacement for one of the star players.
