Bradford reject Scunthorpe’s opening bid for McMahon

Bradford City have rejected the Iron’s opening offer for Tony McMahon, according to the Telegraph and Argus.

Stuart McCall made it clear that he ‘wants him in their squad 100 per cent’, amid the reported bid from United.

Although the initial bid has been rejected, if rumours of the players interest in signing for the Iron are true, a second offer may come to fruition before Graham Alexander moves on to other targets.

Talking to the Telegraph and Argus, the City boss said: “As far as I know, Scunthorpe have made a bid which is not acceptable to us.

“But Tony is in no way looking to leave the club. So, the position is status quo for me and I want him in our squad 100 per cent.”
