There’s no doubting Hakeeb Adelakun has been in blistering form for Scunthorpe this season, and his form has not gone unnoticed – as reports suggest no less than four clubs from a higher division are interested in his signature.
The Daily Mail are reporting that Sunderland are currently leading the race to land the Sky Bet EFL young player of the month for November.
But, Hull City, Barnsley and Crystal Palace are all tracking the situation closely, too.
The report suggests the Iron are holding out for a £1million fee, should they opt to allow Adelakun to move on.
Adelakun is out of contract in the summer, and there had been suggestions the club were trying to negotiate a new deal with the player.
Should the touted names produce an offer that matches our valuation, then sadly it will be inevitable that Haks moves onwards and upwards – a massive blow for the club.
We will bring you any updates when there are any on this particular story. #UTI
