New Scunthorpe assistant manager will be announced ‘within 10 days’

Scunthorpe United fans will know the details of the club’s new assistant manager within the next ten days, according to Graham Alexander.

Alexander has been left without an assistant since Chris Lucketti left the club to become the first team manager at fellow League One side Bury.

Nick Daws has remained as the first team coach since Lucketti’s departure, but Alexander has yet to announce his long-term replacement.

Talking to The Scunthorpe Telegraph, Alexander said: “I had a good conversation with the chairman last week about what I feel is needed.

“It might come about in the next week to 10 days about what I am going to do and we will see if that comes to fruition. It should hopefully be sorted.”

There have been no names touted yet, but once the rumours begin, we will update the website to keep you informed.
