Scunthorpe have announced that Noel Burdett has had his contract with the club terminated by mutual consent.
The second-year professional, who has had loan spells with Frickley, Gainsborough Trinity and Matlock Town in the past two seasons, leaves having made no first team appearances for United.
He was, however, an unused substitute on seven occasions, during his time in North Lincolnshire.
The club’s official website sent the youngster their best wishes for the future, saying: “We would like to thank Noel for his efforts while with the Iron, and wish him all the best for the future.”
