Scunthorpe’s assistant manager Chris Lucketti has emerged as a surprise heavy favourite to take over as manager of League One rivals, Bury.
The Shakers parted ways with Lee Clark on October 30, and opted to take their time to find the right replacement, rather than making rushed decisions.
Simon Grayson had been the bookies favourite to become the clubs new manager, but this morning has seen Lucketti surge into odds of 1/10 – with one outlet even suggesting the deal is done.
