Iron youngster Levi Sutton has signed a new two-year deal with the club, after an impressive season so far – in his third year as a professional.
Sutton slotted in to the right back position to provide cover for the injured Jordan Clarke when the Iron faced Rochdale on August 12, and remained in the squad until he suffered an injury a month later against Blackburn.
After signing his new deal, Sutton told the Iron’s iFollow account: “I’m delighted to have signed for another two years with Scunthorpe.
“I’ve been here for a very long time now, so to have played in a few of the games towards the start of the season and get to sign a new deal has made me very happy.”
