Charlton Athletic striker Lee Novak is poised to join the Iron on a permanent deal before the end of the transfer deadline, according to sources down south.
Novak joined Charlton from last summer and played on 32 occasions for the Addicks, scoring twice in the league.
The Iron almost signed Novak from Gateshead in 2009, but were beaten to his signature at the death by Huddersfield Town.

United have already let one striker go out on loan tonight in Kyle Wootton, and Novak looks set to be his replacement.
