Tranmere away Saturday 29/12/2012

Lawsy will be hoping for a response after the drubbing at Bramall Lane.

So due to a busy Christmas schedule at work and at home I have been absent from writing on here so I think it’s time to do some making up for this over the next few weeks, starting today.

Now sadly due to family get togethers I was unable to attend the match vs Sheffield United on boxing day and from what I’ve heard I didn’t miss out on much if anything positive from the game except for a 20 minute spell towards the end of the first half. Sheffield United are flying high at the moment and are unbeaten at home all season (Whilst also sitting pretty at the top of the league), so anyone who thought a loss would be the end of the world needs kicking repeatedly.

Moving onto the game we play tomorrow away at other high flyers Tranmere Rovers. I will be travelling to this game and I can honestly say I am looking forward to a great day out regardless of the result. I also recieved an Ipad Mini for Christmas so I will almost certianly be playing a bit of football manager to keep myself entertained for the trip to Scouseland!
Realistically can we get a result tomorrow? Well seen as I have already said “anyone who thought a loss would be the end of the world needs kicking repeatedly” with respect to the league leaders game, I suppose I best stick to my guns and say the same seen as Tranmere are sitting second place going into the game. Although I always like to take a bit of optimism into a game especially when I am making the effort and spending the money to watch the game so I truly believe if we turn up and play like we did against Coventry and Leyton Orient then we can just about nick something from this game. We shall see.

Off the field I hope everyone has had a great Christmas and are looking forward to a ‘messy’ New Years Eve blast out! I will be posting more articles after the new year so look out for them.

This will be my last article for the year of 2012 so all that is left to say is…

UP THE IRON!!
