Carlisle info out

Carlisle United and Scunthorpe United have jointly announced that the tickets for the Easter Monday are selling well just under a week from the League One clash.

The high-flying Cumbrian side, managed by former Hull City player Greg Abbott – are currently in the play-offs and will go into the game full of confidence.

That said, Scunthorpe are in relatively good form: unbeaten in 8, and have only lost once away from home since the end of November.

Despite just how well the away fans turned out at Chesterfield, to high reward – we’ve received a relatively small amount of tickets – just 200: for the next away game. Approximately half of them have been sold already.

The away fans are expected to be in the corner down the side of the ground: although this may change depending on the size of our following.

Since Scunny took just shy of 1,000 to Chesterfield in North Derbyshire last weekend for the 4-1 tub-thumping win: the club’s hopes of taking a similarly high number are also relatively high themselves.

The tickets will also thus be available for fans to purchase on the day of the game for any fans unable to purchase the tickets in advance.

However, the prices of the below categories will increase by £2 compared to the price in advance. The only exception are the U/10 & U/6 categories. Those 2 categories must also be purchased with at least 1 Adult ticket simultaneously.

The prices for the tickets, purchased in advance, are thus at follows:

Adult – £20
OAP & Student –  £14
U/17 –
£10
U/10 – £6
U/6 – Free
OAPs, (Old Aged Pensioners), are required to be Over 65 – and the Student category required to have a valid NUS card.

If either are paying on the day of the game on the turnstile, or buying them in advance from Glanford Park: then proving the above identification may be required.

As for coach travel – it is believed that both the Scunthorpe United Official Supporters Club (SUOSC / OSC), and Winterton Iron will be running coaches to the game – although it is best to contact either organisation for confirmation.

The club themselves have also been confirmed as running at least one coach to the game.

Further information for that can found at ->  http://www.scunthorpe-united.co.uk/page/CoachTravel/0,,10442~2385411,00.html

We hope to see you all there cheering on the mighty Iron.

Up the Iron!

  1. The supporters club isn't taking a coach also Winterton Iron isn't as well, The club is only taking one 😦 such a let down that's why lots of people who go to every away game can't go. There is enough demand for more coaches but scunny didn't want more.

  2. I can't understand why the supporters club didn't have a coach on, especially considering the clubs recent form, the demand surely would have been high enough? Did you end up going?
