Oldham ticket info

Scunthorpe United have released the ticket information surrounding tomorrow evening’s vital League One clash with Paul Dickov’s mid-table Oldham Athletic.

This will be the 3rd time the Iron have played them already this season – and will be desperate to avenge defeats in both the League and Johnstone’s Paint Trophy which occurred at Glanford Park earlier on in the season.

The clash at Boundary Park is only available for pay on the gate for all Iron fans: as the Latics have not sent Scunthorpe United any tickets in advance of the game.

Scunny’s win over Wycombe shot us out of the relegation zone – but with the gap just 2 points, and with goal difference extremely tight, all concerned will be desperate for another positive result.

But given that Oldham came back from 2 goals to beat Sheffield United 3-2 at Brammal Lane at the weekend, this will be anything other than an easy task indeed.

The prices have been confirmed as thus:

Adults – £15
Seniors & U/16s – £8
U/12s – £3

With regards to getting to the game itself – unfortunately, fans travelling from Scunthorpe on the night are unable to complete the entire journey via train: with only Sheffield or Leeds as far as any travelers could get following the game.

Good job this author lives in Sheffield eh? 😉

But thankfully – the coach travel is theoretical available for £10: albeit is not yet known whether or not the club have sold out the sole coach making the journey. The club have as yet made no announcement on the subject.

More information can be found at:  http://www.scunthorpe-united.co.uk/page/CoachTravel/0,,10442~2385416,00.html

Despite this – and given the reasonably priced tickets, let’s just hope that the Scunthorpe fans will be there in numbers and that the players can give us a performance to match.

Up the Iron!
