Hartlepool game ticket info out

Scunthorpe United have released the ticket details surrounding the Iron’s away trip to Hartlepool to take on Mick Wadsworth’s Monkey Hangers.

This will of course be the 3rd time that the two clubs will have played each other so far this season – following the Iron’s single JPT win over them, and then the incredibly disappointing defeat to the North-East club, at home at Glanford Park, in the league.

With the tie being at Victoria Park on Monday January 2nd – it will thus be Scunny’s first league game in 2012, and the first of ours within the January transfer window.

Whether or not it is a positive start to the new year, or if there are any new ranks in the Scunthorpe roster – are very different questions though!

There’s less than a month between now and then, and whilst there’s plenty of games: every single point is valuable for Alan Knill’s men between now and then, so let’s just pray for another 3 points!

Hartlepool have given us 250 tickets for the League One clash, and they are available for all willing supporters to buy already.

This can be done via the normal methods: be it over the phone, or in person at the ticket office. The tickets, allocation permitting, will thus remain on sale till 3pm on New Year’s Eve.

The ticket prices for the game will be as follows:

Adults – £25
Concessions – £13

There is no specific kids category for the game, with those fans wanting to be in the away end forced to adhere to the above prices.

Assuming that the club have not made an error: the above Concessions category – is expected to encompass Students, OAPs and kids etc.

That said: there have been mistakes and confusion in the past – so it’s defintiely best to find out the specifics from the club to try and avoid disappointment.

This can be done by ringing the club on 0871 221 1899 or contacting them in the normal usual ways etc.

The Hartlepool game will also be the Iron’s first away game after Christmas: indeed, the first away game following the trip to Exeter on the 17th of December: so it’ll come sooner than we all think no doubt!

The club’s coach travel details have also been released for any Scunny fans unable to get to the North-East by their own means.

It is also not yet known by Any Old Iron as to whether or not the Official Supporters Club or Winterton Iron will be running a coach to the game. For any interested Iron fans – it’s best to contact the respective committee members from both supporters’ clubs.

Anyway, the prices are as follows:

Members: £12
Non-Members:
£13

As per, if you are a Season Ticket Holder, or Iron Member – then you are classified as being a Member for the Coach Travel purposes: and available to utilise the discount thus.

The times are also as follows:

Ashby Broadway: 10:30AM
Museum:
10:40AM
Baths Hall:
10:45AMGlanford Park: 11:00AM

So for all those eager Iron fans making the trip up, or hoping to anyway – the Any Old Iron team hope to see you up there – and for us all to be rewarded with 3 juicy Iron points and a very vital win.

Up the Iron!
